About Julian Gomez

I’m a Colombian illustrator and tattoo artist born in 1986 with a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. My journey began with drawing comics as a kid, heavily inspired by the dark and detailed world of McFarlane’s Spawn. In 2007, I won the national drawing contest by Converse in Colombia, in 2012 I became a tattoo artist and in 2015 I took home the second place in both the Freehand and Freestyle categories at the Cali Tattoo Festival, judged by renowned artists Paul Booth and Stefano Alcantara.

My passion lies in gray wash tattoos, especially in biomechanical styles and black and gray animal realism. I’m drawn to depth, texture, and atmosphere—bringing raw energy and precision to every piece. Beyond tattooing, my dream in the fine arts is to become a fantasy artist, blending imagination with a touch of darkness.

I’ve also always wanted to have my own collection of action figures—and now I’m finally making that dream a reality by building my own custom action figures.
